Course Overview

01

Level A1 - Beginner

Block A1-1

Starting from an absolute beginner level, students learn to introduce themselves briefly and provide rudimentary information. Students learn the lexicon and grammar necessary to speak about a familiar environment and to satisfy their most immediate needs.

Block A1-2

In this next block, students will acquire the lexicon and grammar to talk about their hobbies, work and other topics related to the familiar environment of everyday life. By the end of the course, they will also be able to express their opinions and preferences in simple terms.
02

Level A2 - High Beginner

Block A2-1

The aim of A2 block 1 is to familiarize the student with the lexicon and grammar needed to describe familiar topics related to the everyday environment, but also to talk about a wider range of everyday subjects. In particular, students begin to give explanations and prohibitions or authorizations.

Block A2-2

At the end of this block, students will have learned how to communicate at work, in particular to present their qualifications. They will be able to provide more detailed information on a topic in their daily lives, particularly in relation to housing. They will also be able to give advice or an opinion in a more nuanced way, by mastering the compound past tense.
03

Level B1 - Intermediate

Block B1-1

This block enables students to talk about themselves in the past tense or about events in the past, including travel and places visited, in a colloquial and formal register. They will be able to ask for clarification and give opinions on a news item, putting forward hypotheses and possibilities, with greater awareness of judgment.

Block B1-2

Participation in this B1block 2 session allows students to acquire the key grammar and lexicon to explain their motives in detail and to give their opinion/criticism on a text. They are able to describe their lives and events in a linear way, in a cohesive discourse.

From this session, targeted and systematic elements of the TEF/TEFAQ are integrated.
04
